Projects that the EPIC Team are currently following for the purpose's of (a) knowledge transfer and (b) understanding good practice are:

 

  • FIREBALL establishes a coordination mechanism through which a network of Smart Cities across Europe engages in long term collaboration for adopting User Driven Open Innovation to explore the opportunities of the Future Internet. www.fireball4smartcities.eu
  • Smart Cities Innovation network funded by the Interreg IVB North Sea Region Programme is creating an innovation network between cities and academic partners to develop and deliver better e-services to citizens and businesses in the North Sea. www.smartcities.info
  • The APOLLON project, funded under ICT PSP, is networking and harmonising Living Lab approaches throughout Europe. www.apollon-pilot.eu
  • Collabs, funded under the ICT-PSP program, with aim to achieve a European-wide adoption of ICT-based LL services to allow SMEs to improve their innovation capabilities and become part of “open innovation”. www.ami-communities.eu/wiki/CO-LLABS
  • EUROCITIES is the network of major European cities. We bring together the local governments of more than 140 large cities in over 30 European countries. www.eurocities.eu
